Finally scrapbooked Stuarts birthday (six months later) lol. LOVING the banner trend...i find myself putting them on everything! Im happy to be scraping again...wish i could find the time to do it more...but life just gets so busy at times, especially with three little boys to chase around. But i wouldnt trade it for the world...i love my life...i thank God every day for all the blessings hes given me and my family.

Life just may get a little busier here pretty soon...if all goes well, ill be starting school next week. Its about time i start thinking about what im going to do with the rest of my life once all the kids are in school. Once its all settled and a sure thing, ill tell ya all about it :)

Sooooooo yeaaah. The prodigal blogger has returned! lol. So I went through a major creative BLAH period in my life. Completely lost my scrapy mojo. That has never happened to me for such a long period of time before. Was weird...But i think im back! Been working on a couple projects this past week and im starting to get inspired! I finally finished the mini album i had been working on for my girl friend....

Cant wait to finally present it to her Thursday when we meet for lunch :)

Yes we are starting it up again (and hopefully sticking with it this time)...Ann-Marie, Cherie and I will be taking turns hosting weekly challenges...A new challenge will be posted every Thursday on one of our blogs...just for fun and to hopefully get your creative juices flowing (as well as ours) ♥

My challenge for you is to create a layout using at least one item that is not considered a "traditional" scrapbooking item....you may have to rummage through the garage or kitchen cupboards or next time you're at the market or out to dinner, keep your eyes peeled for anything you could incorporate into your page.

Here's mine..

In this layout i took a plain white cupcake liner and painted it yellow and stuffed it behind my photo...i also Incorporated the napkin holder from the restaurant we went to, as part of my title :)

I soooo wasnt planning on scrapbooking last night (was so tired all day) but when i got home from the class i was just feeling so inspired...i made my mermaid into a card (will take a pic and post it later) and i did another layout...and yes DOILIES..im pretty much addicted to these things so get use to it! ;)

Went to Paper Tales today (technically yesterday) to take a Copic techniques class with the amazing Randi Wall. i think im hooked! Look what she taught me...This was my first time using Copics...i never thought i would be able to make something this pretty with markers...i used over 15 colors and it took me 2 hours but vuala! I love it :) Thanks Randi ♥

Havnt really been in much of a creative mood lately....but for some reason i got my mojo back last night. I did a page of Stuart and me on Valentines Day ♥ I have been holding on to this pack of paper doilies, i got at walmart, for months...just waiting for the "perfect" project to use them on. I find myself doing that alot...hording instead of useing! So on this layout i decided to use all my "good stuff" that i never reach for because im "saving" it. Im going to start doing that from now on...when i dont put restrictions on myself it fires my creativity and i am happier with the end result. I just cant wait for tonight after the kids go to bed...i cleaned up my scrap space last night (well actually 2 this morning), so with a new clean slate plus a whole bunch of "good stuff" just waiting to be used, i will be in scrapbook heaven! :)

I havnt done the cover yet...but here it is so far.
Dec. 1st the kids and i decorated ornaments with paint, rhinestones and glitter.
The second we decorated the tree. Loving that Martha Stewart Lace border punch!
Day three we went to Santee Town Center and the kids ran around the giant Christmas tree. I forgot to bring my camera so there are no pics for that day, just journaling. I just hand cut a piece of stiffened felt.
On the fourth we went to Stuarts Company Xmas party. They had Santa, coloring activities and cookie decorating...it was a blast! I stuffed the extra photos from the night in the little Maya Road envelope.
I havnt done the 5th yet. Stuart and his parents took the kids to December Nights in Balboa Park...they went to the Natural History museum.

Wow! I had an amazing Thanksgiving!! The food was incredible (thanks mom) and the company even better. I love this time of year when everyone gets together. I am incredibly thankful for the beautiful family i have.
Other that gorging myself with Turkey and Green Been Casserole...ive also been busy gathering for my December Daily...Im so excited that im actually going to do it this year. Its nice having more time to be with the ones i love and do the things that make me happy. It feels good not having the life sucked out of me by dramatic, insecure, paranoid crazy people! lol. Say that three time fast!

Misting Magic...

I will be teaching a Glimmer Mist class at Yellow Bird tonight...Im also holding the class December 17th. Its more of a technique class but you will be going home with this Christmas sign and 4 tags showing the different things you can do with it. Im pretty excited...I have completely fallen in love with GM...its so versatile...i like to dabble in different scrapbooking styles and it works with all of them!

This year is just flyin! It seems like just yesterday Stuart started Kindergarten....hes learning soooo fast! Hes so smart and I'm so proud of him.

Im working on a new Mini Book. Its of course using (my favorite) Cosmo Cricket. I just adore the 'Earth Love' line....although i cant wait to get 'Nutmeg'...it looks sooooo cute...i think its going to be my favorite line. Anyhoo...i hope to be finished with it by next weekend, so check back for more pics to come.

My lil Stuart started kindergarten on Tuesday! By babies are growing up sooo fast!!

He was so good ...didn't cry, wasn't sad or anything...he waved good bye like it was no big deal. I think I was more scared and nervous than he was. I'm so proud of him! I enjoy picking out his outfit and packing his little lunch box every morning. This is a new chapter in our lives and i think I'm gonna like it!

So I haven't had much xtra time for blogging lately. Like i said in my last post...life is crazy busy! Anyhoo...went to Yellow Bird tonight. It was our monthly DT meeting. All the DT members and teachers are participating in a circle journal...its super fun...took home some lovely pages tonight from Cheri Villafranca and Samantha Sibbet...cant wait till the journal is complete...these girls are sooo talented!

Been so busy lately. Scrambling to get Lil Stuarts paper work together for kindergarten pre-registration. Cant believe he's going to start school this year! he's growing up sooo fast! They all are...Will's birthday is tomorrow. One year already! His party is on the 20th...which reminds me..i need to finish those dang invites and get them sent off tomorrow. I seriously dont know anyone who procrastinates as much as i do.

Queen For a Day!

Went to my moms for Mothers Day...it was a beautiful day...and we all had a great time. My brother Andrew BBQ'd for us. It was nice getting to kick back and be pampered for a day. Stuart got me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers...

The kids made me cards...lol...they are sooo cute! Sunday morning little Stuart whispered to his daddy, "Is it movers day yet?" They made the cards a few days ago and were getting impatient.

Here is the layout i did for Anne Marie's challenge...My favorite technique of the moment is stamping and heat embossing...I embossed the green damask, the bird, and the Maya Road CB crown. Its just sooo much fun! Thanks Anne Marie! Cant wait to see what this weeks challenge is going to be!

So i am officially sick! Ugh. I was hoping that my sore throat was just from yelling to much (when you live with three destructive tornado's that call themselves boy's...that tends to happen), but today i am definitely feeling a bit under the weather.

On the bright side, i finished last weeks challenge...I love my mom so much and cant wait to spend Sunday with her. Which reminds me, i still need to make her a card :)Well i have a busy week ahead of me...Anne Marie's challenge, Coming up with samples for an upcoming class i pan on teaching at CSS (stay tuned for more info), Mothers Day cards, and im also working on party stuff for Wills Bday. Its coming up fast! He will be 11months on the 12th...just cant believe it.

Anyhoo...better get some rest...i have to work all day tomorrow and still have energy to work on all my projects.

Wow...i cant believe how fast time flys! Wesley Just turned 4 March 14. We had his party at Peter Pipers. It was a lot of fun...got to see my girlfriends from high school and there little ones. Its funny that we are all moms now.

Sorry i havnt posted in forever...Kids have been sick, been workin alot at CSS, Doin DT projects for Yellow Bird. Wesleys Birthday is March 14th and im trying to plan a party. Im working on the invitations and hope to get them out Monday. Its going to be a jungle animal theme...so of course im using Sassafras Bungle Jungle...SOOO Cute!!! Im hoping to make some cute decorations with it. We will see if i have time or not. I also have a project that im doing for Yellow Bird that is due the 15th so ive got to try and juggle both + work + kids. Ummm yeah...a little stressed you might say! lol. A New Day...

Im finally at that point where i just cant take it being fat anymore! I broke down in tears last night when i wouldn't let my husband even touch me...i felt gross, ashamed, uncomfortable in my own skin. Ive been wanting to loose weight for 5 years, but the problem is im lazy and have trouble making myself stick to a diet and exercise routine. But today is a new day! Im determined to loose the the weight and finally start feeling confident again!

On another note, i got a couple pages done over a week ago and finally got around to uploading them last night. This one is of William at one month. I kinda just went all out on this one....my pages tend to be minimalistic but im getting a bit board with it so i decided to change it up. Im really happy with the way it turned out.

I liked it so much that i decided to redo one of my other layouts in the same kinda way. I think it looks 100 times better!

Well im off to jog the park and spend the day running errands. ♥gen

lol. Fun mix!!! Went to Cherie's for a Halloween Scrap party on Saturday....was soooo much fun! We got pretty wasted, played round the robin and i was able to get two layouts done. I did end up cutting one of my photos in half while trying to trim another one on the same sheet....was NOT happy about that....especially since my printer is out of ink and cant print another one. Looking back i probably should have trimmed all my photos before i started drinking lol. But all in all i had a great time...i love when im able to get together with my friends and scrap. Hey everyone! I know i haven't updated in a while...{sorry Alessandra ;)} lol. Ive been a bit busy...and somewhat lazy to be honest. But its 12:45 in the morning and i cant sleep so here i am. I apologize ahead of time if i start rambling nonsense. lol.

I did want to thank everyone who supported me and bought my Halloween mini book kit! I had sooo much fun making them. i still have one more to sell, so if you want to snag it, it's still at the store. I hope to teach a Fall themed mini next month, if the store is booked by the time i get around to making something i plan on setting up an Etsy account and will sell kits there.

On another note, i wanted to say that the Bus Tour with Ever After was AMAZING!! I went with Jenn and Jackie, (we work together at CSS). We had sooo much fun! They really did an awesome job of planning. My favorite store we went to was The Red Bee. It was so huge! And they hosted a really cool make'n take. I definitely have to take a trip up there again! Anyhoo...after the tour we went back to Jenn's house to scrap...i got a couple Layouts done...

Im going to Cheries house tomorrow after work for a halloween Scrap party! Sooo excited! Hope to get some more pages done then. Have a great weekend! ♥gen

Yes its been a month since i posted...and still no layouts for you guys....i really need to get on the ball!! I actually did scrap a page for Yellow Bird but left my camera in my moms car so couldnt take a pic before i had to turn it in. Oh yeah....i made the DT for Yellow Bird in El Cajon,,...sooo excited!! Hi everyone! I know, I know...I should have posted pics of the little guy a month ago. Ive just been a bit tired and overwhelmed with everything. But things are starting to settle down and im gettin in the swing of things. His name is William Aiden, he was 8lbs 8oz and 20 inches long. Hes already a month old now and getting bigger and bigger everyday!

Wow...I cant believe i only have two more weeks to go! Boy am i ready. Nervous but ready. My last day at CSS was Thursday...i sure am gonna miss everyone. (I already do) lol. Anyhoo...i got my scrap on last night!!! lol. I just loved these pics of Stuart drawing on the patio...he's quite the artist. Now that i have some time off, im hopeing to get more pages done.

Happy Mothers Day everyone! Today was totally awesome...ate like a pig and got a new camera, so thats cool :) Just thought id share what i made for my mom this year. It was my first try at soldering and i think it turned out pretty well.

I cant believe i only get a layout done about once a month...i really wish i had more time to scrap...hopefully i will still be able to make time for it once the baby arrives...which is in 5 more weeks!!!!! AHHH!!! Im sooo nervous...but seriously cant wait to get this thing out of me! lol. Im to the point where everything hurts all the time and im sooo tired...it feels like the baby is gonna bust through my stomach every time he moves...very uncomfortable! But all complaining aside...i cant wait to see his little face and hold his little body in my arms...im gonna go picture crazy for sure lol. Anyhoo...my next appointment is in 2 weeks...Ill keep you all updated on how that goes. So here is the layout i did a few weeks ago...Wesley's 3rd birthday...im really happy with the way it turned out...i got my inspiration from Creating Keepsakes 'April' issue, page 43.

So i went to the the hospital yesterday for my 20 week sono and it turns out im having a BOY!!! i guess someone upstairs sure does have a sense of humor! I dont know what im going to do with THREE boys!!!! Ahhh! Its just too painful to think about. I really wanted to get my tubes tied and be done with having kids after this one, but i just cant, nor could i ever fathem not having a daughter in my life. I want that special mother daughter relationship...i wanna play dress up, piant eachothers nails...god...i just want a girl sooo bad!!! The scary part is trying for a fourth! i never in a million years thought i would ever have 4 kids...thats just CRAZYNESS!!! But like i said, the idea of never having a baby girl is just unimaginable....so i guess we will be trying again in a few years. Anyhoo....so here is that other layout i did...dont know what im going to do with it since its about being pregnant with a girl!!!! Ill just hold on to it till after the baby is born....you never know....there could be a mirical. lol.

Wow...i havnt posted in sooo long! With my new job @ 'Cool Scrapbook Stuff' taking up all my nights and weekends...i rarely have time to blog anymore. ....For all of you who dont know...im pregnant again...lol. I went to the doc today and i am 10 weeks and 2 days....my due date is june 10th!!! I havnt had time to scrap lately either...im hoping to get a page or two out tonight though. lol. I went to Cherie's last night and got some more scrappin done. Ive really been able to make time for it lately...i usually dont get to scrap as often as id like. I seem to be on a roll! Hehee. This layout is of my mom on the 4th of July....i just think its so cute that she is so enthusiastic about the holidays and always dresses for the occasion :)

This is a LO i did about a month ago....id have to say, its favorite! It just really captures the essence of my style...lol...i guess...if that makes sense. hehee. And i owe it all to my bff Cherie! Yep, for starters she took me and the boys to this amazing, secluded beach in coronado (i think thats where it was). And second.....i decided to visit her @ 'Cool Scrapbook Stuff' (where she works) and she showed me this gorgeous pp by 'My Minds Eye'.....LOVE it!!!! Its the Tres Jolie line. Tonight was the Design Team crop at Scrappin' Attack...sooo much fun!!! I always have a blast with those girls. lol. My face hurts right now from laughing so much! Hehee...yeah...good times! Wow!!! There's only two spots left laddies!!! My class is filling up fast, so if you planned on signing up, id call the store ASAP to reserve your seat! If you've already signed up...here are the tools youll need to bring... Paper trimmer, scissors and adhesive. And if you have it...sanding tools, ink and a hole punch or cropadile. But if you don't have those, don't worry, ill bring mine and we will just have to share. I know its still early, but just wanna give you guys a heads up while I'm thinking about it. lol. Oh, and don't worry if you didn't get in...I'm pretty sure ill be doing another one soon after. Anyhoo...here is another little preview from the album. So I finally got some scrappin done!!! Ahhhh...feels good. lol. The kiddies are having a sleep over at grandmas, so i was able to stay up all night (its almost 5am and i havnt gone to sleep yet)...*SOOOO TIRED*...Anyhoo, Im starting to experiment in 8 1/2 x 11's....soooo l♥ving it!!!!! I was getting kinda board with the 12x12 so i thought id try something new. I also wanna try 6x12's too! Ive heard of people mix'n matching different size layouts in one album and i just think thats such a cool idea...so thats what im gonna do! lol. So the pages i did tonight are of my son Wesley and my brother Andrew. He moved to Redding last month and i was totally missing him so i thought id scrap him! Hehee!!! I just think its so cute when Wes calls him "Unky" Andrew! ...I worked really hard to make these layouts different from all my other ones...like i said, i just wanna try new things and continue to develop my style. Oh my goodness!!!...i cant believe its three in the morning. lol. I just finished my challenge for Scrappin Attack. I had to use the Daisy Bucket's "Pet Shoppe" collection. (Kitty Paper) I was totally intimidated at first, cuz i dont have a cat...and really wasnt crazy about the paper...but Candace gave me a few pics of her kittens and they really inspired me! Im pretty happy with the way it turned out. Thanks Candace ;)

I had so much fun today at MIM. I spent the day with Cherie, mom, Danielle and lil Stu. Heehee...im such a dope! I didnt have any pics with me, so Cherie and mom let me scrap theirs. It was so much fun though!!! I scrapped Cherie and Jeff's 3rd anniversary! It turned out super cute and gave me inspiration for my own anniversary coming up! I also scrapped Andrews grad party for mom...didnt finish it though. Lil Stu was sooooo good! We were there for about six hours and he was a perfect angel. I gave him some paper, stickers, a pen and scissors and just let him go to town. lol. He had a blast! There is another crop next Sunday that Cherie has invited me to....i really hope i can go....but we'll see what Stuart says ;) lol. Night-Night everyone! *HUGZ* ♥gen

Potty training 101

Its day three of Wesley's potty training....he is actually doing quite well. This morning he woke up completely dry! Although he has had a couple accidents today...but its only been three days so i cant get to discouraged. I have to say, Stuart was was much easier! But all kids are different i guess. I'm hoping he will do OK tomorrow. Its daddy's turn! Ill be at a crop all day so he'll have to pick up where i left off. I'm sure he'll do fine♥ I better get off to bed...i have a full day of scrappin to do :) *HUGZ* ♥gen

Ok everyone....My class has been scheduled for October 3rd! I know, I know, its totally far away...but that's the soonest Shawni could squeeze me in. Ive been wanting to teach scrapbooking for a long time and I'm finally confident enough to go for it! I decided to go with a mini album for my first class. I'm so excited (and totally nervous)!
