Challenge Time...

Cherie, you're right! Life is moving way too fast! Ive got so much to do to prepare for Williams birthday...im a little overwhelmed. But im really excited about cropping at the store on Sunday. I hope i get a lot done.

Anyhoo, here is my interpretation of the sketch Cherie posted....

And My challenge for this week is to bust out your die cutting machines! Create a layout using die cuts. We all have a different machine, so lets see what they can do! Have fun, i know i will :)

Queen For a Day!

Went to my moms for Mothers Day...it was a beautiful day...and we all had a great time. My brother Andrew BBQ'd for us. It was nice getting to kick back and be pampered for a day. Stuart got me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers...

The kids made me cards...lol...they are sooo cute! Sunday morning little Stuart whispered to his daddy, "Is it movers day yet?" They made the cards a few days ago and were getting impatient.

Here is the layout i did for Anne Marie's challenge...My favorite technique of the moment is stamping and heat embossing...I embossed the green damask, the bird, and the Maya Road CB crown. Its just sooo much fun! Thanks Anne Marie! Cant wait to see what this weeks challenge is going to be!

Blue Tuesday...

So i am officially sick! Ugh. I was hoping that my sore throat was just from yelling to much (when you live with three destructive tornado's that call themselves boy's...that tends to happen), but today i am definitely feeling a bit under the weather.


On the bright side, i finished last weeks challenge...I love my mom so much and cant wait to spend Sunday with her. Which reminds me, i still need to make her a card :)Well i have a busy week ahead of me...Anne Marie's challenge, Coming up with samples for an upcoming class i pan on teaching at CSS (stay tuned for more info), Mothers Day cards, and im also working on party stuff for Wills Bday. Its coming up fast! He will be 11months on the 12th...just cant believe it.

Anyhoo...better get some rest...i have to work all day tomorrow and still have energy to work on all my projects.

Ahhh Finished!

So i stayed up all night last night finishing up Yellow Birds and Cheries challenges. I have to say i really love doing this every week...it really forces me to keep my creative juices flowing. If it wernt for our weekly challenges i probably wouldnt find time for myself to do what i love- CREATE. Thanks Cherie for coming up with this awesome and inspirational idea! lol. Ok so heres my layout...

Late...

So i was suppose to post Cherie's challenge yesterday (Theme: Fashion, challenge: Use fabric some where on the layout) but as you can see im late...sorry Cherie, ill get working on it right away and i promise ill have it posted by tomorrow night.

So its my turn to pick the challenge this week. I was thinking since mothers day is just around the corner, it would be fun to create a layout focusing on all the things you love and appreciate about your mom. Have fun!

Forgotten Love

So i had totally forgotten how awesome the Silhouette is! I havnt used mine in like a year and just busted it out the other night...its sooo cool! Oh and my new favorite thing...VINYL!!! I made a bunch of vinyl stickers last night and i have so many ideas for wall art and clear mini books! This is gonna be a fun week!! lol.

Time Flys

Wow...i cant believe how fast time flys! Wesley Just turned 4 March 14. We had his party at Peter Pipers. It was a lot of fun...got to see my girlfriends from high school and there little ones. Its funny that we are all moms now.

Williams getting sooo big! Hes going on 10 months. Hes walking really well now. He absolutely adores his older brothers and them him.

I better be getting to bed now...its 2 in the morning and i have to go to work @ 10. Stay classy San Diego 8P lol ♥gen

Hangin in there...

Sorry i havnt posted in forever...Kids have been sick, been workin alot at CSS, Doin DT projects for Yellow Bird. Wesleys Birthday is March 14th and im trying to plan a party. Im working on the invitations and hope to get them out Monday. Its going to be a jungle animal theme...so of course im using Sassafras Bungle Jungle...SOOO Cute!!! Im hoping to make some cute decorations with it. We will see if i have time or not. I also have a project that im doing for Yellow Bird that is due the 15th so ive got to try and juggle both + work + kids. Ummm yeah...a little stressed you might say! lol. Anyhoo...here is a layout i did like a week ago and forgot to post. I still havnt added the journaling yet but i thought id better have somthin for yall to look at;)

Good Morning!

Its been a while since ive blogged...just been so busy with life. Takin a break tonight though...Im going to Cherie's later to crop...ill probably work on my Christmas cards. Yeah...still havnt gotten them done yet...like i said just been sooo busy. William is 6mo already....just cant believe it. The time is flyin by these days! Oh which reminds me i still need to take his 6mo pics. Ok well i need to start getting my stuff ready...im gonna spend the whole day there! Will update soon. ♥gen

A New Day...

Im finally at that point where i just cant take it being fat anymore! I broke down in tears last night when i wouldn't let my husband even touch me...i felt gross, ashamed, uncomfortable in my own skin. Ive been wanting to loose weight for 5 years, but the problem is im lazy and have trouble making myself stick to a diet and exercise routine. But today is a new day! Im determined to loose the the weight and finally start feeling confident again!

On another note, i got a couple pages done over a week ago and finally got around to uploading them last night. This one is of William at one month. I kinda just went all out on this one....my pages tend to be minimalistic but im getting a bit board with it so i decided to change it up. Im really happy with the way it turned out.

I liked it so much that i decided to redo one of my other layouts in the same kinda way. I think it looks 100 times better!

Well im off to jog the park and spend the day running errands. ♥gen

Out Numbered and Loving it!!

I just turned in my challenge for Yellow Bird yesterday. I used the new Prima {Youth} collection....it freakin rocks!!! I LOVE the rubbons...and the icon paper is flipin awesome!

Scrapbooking and alcohol....

lol. Fun mix!!! Went to Cherie's for a Halloween Scrap party on Saturday....was soooo much fun! We got pretty wasted, played round the robin and i was able to get two layouts done. I did end up cutting one of my photos in half while trying to trim another one on the same sheet....was NOT happy about that....especially since my printer is out of ink and cant print another one. Looking back i probably should have trimmed all my photos before i started drinking lol. But all in all i had a great time...i love when im able to get together with my friends and scrap. Here are the pages i did. I may add to them later...

Yay! Its Friday!!!

Hey everyone! I know i haven't updated in a while...{sorry Alessandra ;)} lol. Ive been a bit busy...and somewhat lazy to be honest. But its 12:45 in the morning and i cant sleep so here i am. I apologize ahead of time if i start rambling nonsense. lol.

I did want to thank everyone who supported me and bought my Halloween mini book kit! I had sooo much fun making them. i still have one more to sell, so if you want to snag it, it's still at the store. I hope to teach a Fall themed mini next month, if the store is booked by the time i get around to making something i plan on setting up an Etsy account and will sell kits there.

On another note, i wanted to say that the Bus Tour with Ever After was AMAZING!! I went with Jenn and Jackie, (we work together at CSS). We had sooo much fun! They really did an awesome job of planning. My favorite store we went to was The Red Bee. It was so huge! And they hosted a really cool make'n take. I definitely have to take a trip up there again! Anyhoo...after the tour we went back to Jenn's house to scrap...i got a couple Layouts done...

Im going to Cheries house tomorrow after work for a halloween Scrap party! Sooo excited! Hope to get some more pages done then. Have a great weekend! ♥gen
