Wow! I had an amazing Thanksgiving!! The food was incredible (thanks mom) and the company even better. I love this time of year when everyone gets together. I am incredibly thankful for the beautiful family i have.
Other that gorging myself with Turkey and Green Been Casserole...ive also been busy gathering for my December Daily...Im so excited that im actually going to do it this year. Its nice having more time to be with the ones i love and do the things that make me happy. It feels good not having the life sucked out of me by dramatic, insecure, paranoid crazy people! lol. Say that three time fast!

Misting Magic...

I will be teaching a Glimmer Mist class at Yellow Bird tonight...Im also holding the class December 17th. Its more of a technique class but you will be going home with this Christmas sign and 4 tags showing the different things you can do with it. Im pretty excited...I have completely fallen in love with GM...its so versatile...i like to dabble in different scrapbooking styles and it works with all of them!
Ok well Id better get to makin those kits!

Catch up...

Haven't had much time to post (wont be having that problem anymore ;P lol) ...so lets play catch up! October was an eventful month...we went to Lindo Lake ...

and the Pumpkin patch...we went with my mom and sis...sooo much fun!

October was a fun month...as for November...Im going to concentrate on crafting! I want to scrap all my recent photos and im thinking about doing a December Daily this year as well. Im also going to try harder to post more often...i know my friends and family would like that. Ok well tomorrow is Stuart and my anniversary so we are going out to dinner tonight...Outback! yum! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend...i know i am!

Friday already!!?

This year is just flyin! It seems like just yesterday Stuart started Kindergarten....hes learning soooo fast! Hes so smart and I'm so proud of him.

Im working on a new Mini Book. Its of course using (my favorite) Cosmo Cricket. I just adore the 'Earth Love' line....although i cant wait to get 'Nutmeg'...it looks sooooo cute...i think its going to be my favorite line. Anyhoo...i hope to be finished with it by next weekend, so check back for more pics to come.

Fall is here...

My favorite time of year! I love the all the Rust's and red's, gold's and brown's. Ive already gotten in the halloween spirit. This is a banner i made a couple weeks ago. If i only had a fireplace to display it! lol. Its a mix of Making Memories and Cosmo.

First Day...

My lil Stuart started kindergarten on Tuesday! By babies are growing up sooo fast!!


He was so good ...didn't cry, wasn't sad or anything...he waved good bye like it was no big deal. I think I was more scared and nervous than he was. I'm so proud of him! I enjoy picking out his outfit and packing his little lunch box every morning. This is a new chapter in our lives and i think I'm gonna like it!

Poor neglected blog...

So I haven't had much xtra time for blogging lately. Like i said in my last post...life is crazy busy! Anyhoo...went to Yellow Bird tonight. It was our monthly DT meeting. All the DT members and teachers are participating in a circle journal...its super fun...took home some lovely pages tonight from Cheri Villafranca and Samantha Sibbet...cant wait till the journal is complete...these girls are sooo talented!

On another note...here are some cards i made... I used the ever so awesome Cosmo Cricket "Everafter". LOVE this line!!

Busy Bee

Been so busy lately. Scrambling to get Lil Stuarts paper work together for kindergarten pre-registration. Cant believe he's going to start school this year! he's growing up sooo fast! They all are...Will's birthday is tomorrow. One year already! His party is on the 20th...which reminds me..i need to finish those dang invites and get them sent off tomorrow. I seriously dont know anyone who procrastinates as much as i do.
So it was my turn to post a challenge Monday...sorry for the delay. Like i said busy_busy_busy! Anyhoo, we all LOVE Hambly right?? So this challenge should be easy...Create a layout using at least 80% Hambly! I cant wait to see what cuteness you come up with!!

Challenge Time...

Cherie, you're right! Life is moving way too fast! Ive got so much to do to prepare for Williams birthday...im a little overwhelmed. But im really excited about cropping at the store on Sunday. I hope i get a lot done.

Anyhoo, here is my interpretation of the sketch Cherie posted....

And My challenge for this week is to bust out your die cutting machines! Create a layout using die cuts. We all have a different machine, so lets see what they can do! Have fun, i know i will :)

Queen For a Day!

Went to my moms for Mothers Day...it was a beautiful day...and we all had a great time. My brother Andrew BBQ'd for us. It was nice getting to kick back and be pampered for a day. Stuart got me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers...

The kids made me cards...lol...they are sooo cute! Sunday morning little Stuart whispered to his daddy, "Is it movers day yet?" They made the cards a few days ago and were getting impatient.

Here is the layout i did for Anne Marie's challenge...My favorite technique of the moment is stamping and heat embossing...I embossed the green damask, the bird, and the Maya Road CB crown. Its just sooo much fun! Thanks Anne Marie! Cant wait to see what this weeks challenge is going to be!

Blue Tuesday...

So i am officially sick! Ugh. I was hoping that my sore throat was just from yelling to much (when you live with three destructive tornado's that call themselves boy's...that tends to happen), but today i am definitely feeling a bit under the weather.


On the bright side, i finished last weeks challenge...I love my mom so much and cant wait to spend Sunday with her. Which reminds me, i still need to make her a card :)Well i have a busy week ahead of me...Anne Marie's challenge, Coming up with samples for an upcoming class i pan on teaching at CSS (stay tuned for more info), Mothers Day cards, and im also working on party stuff for Wills Bday. Its coming up fast! He will be 11months on the 12th...just cant believe it.

Anyhoo...better get some rest...i have to work all day tomorrow and still have energy to work on all my projects.

Ahhh Finished!

So i stayed up all night last night finishing up Yellow Birds and Cheries challenges. I have to say i really love doing this every week...it really forces me to keep my creative juices flowing. If it wernt for our weekly challenges i probably wouldnt find time for myself to do what i love- CREATE. Thanks Cherie for coming up with this awesome and inspirational idea! lol. So i had totally forgotten how awesome the Silhouette is! I havnt used mine in like a year and just busted it out the other night...its sooo cool! Oh and my new favorite thing...VINYL!!! I made a bunch of vinyl stickers last night and i have so many ideas for wall art and clear mini books! This is gonna be a fun week!! lol.
